Lead Pilot Dan McClung flies the one-of-a-kind "Talon Eagle", an aircraft designed specifically for Dan's type of flying. Dan completed over 21 years of active & reserve flying for the US Navy before retiring as a Commander. With over 23,000 hours of flying experience, it is a no brainer that he is considered to be one of the best pilots on the circuit. As a matter of fact, his last tour of duty included him working at the Famous Fighter Weapons Training school...affectionately known as TOP GUN. He continued to fly for airlines for 25 years before retiring as a 767 Captain in 2005. Nowadays, Dan is an exceptional aerial performer and an Air Show Competency Evaluator (ACE) appointed by the International Council of Air Shows. He is truly a class-act entertainer that just loves to perform and makes sure that everyone feels the fun, excitement & passion that he has for flying.
Flying on Dan's wing in the Pitts S2C is Mr. Billy Werth from GRAYOUT Aerosports. Billy will also be performing a solo routine at the show. More information on him can be found underneath his article on this website. http://www.redeagleairsports.com
