Billy Werth GRAYOUT Aerosports
Hold on to your hats as Billy Werth from GRAYOUT Aerosports presents one of the most amazing & mesmerizing aerobatic performances in the World.
Billy Werth grew up in an Air Force family and has been around airplanes all of his life. He started flying in 1988 and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Professional Aviation Technology from Indiana State University in 1994. In 1997, he began flying the KC-135R for the Air Force Reserves (a job he still does today). He was hired by Chautauqua Airlines in 2001 and is now a captain on the Embraer 145, based in Indianapolis. Billy has over 6000 hours of flight time in 20 different aircraft. Over 600 of those hours were teaching folks how to fly upside down. That's right, not only is he an aerobatic pilot, but he is an aerobatic instructor as well. When you see Billy perform at this year's event, make sure you thank him (and all of our active duty military and veterans) for serving our great country. Billy was just on a tour of duty from November to January.
The Pitts S2C that Billy flies was designed and built by the famous Curtis Pitts and is painted in patriotic colors. The aircraft was designed for unlimited style aerobatics, and Billy really pushes the aircraft to the extreme. He brings the aircraft down on the deck, low, in your face and through numerous aerobatic tumbles that would make anyone dizzy.
Billy is extremely happy and excited to be able to perform at shows around this great land and to give some demo rides to a few lucky people in the Pitts S2C. His goal is to inspire others with his gifts and talents in aviation.
