Paul Petrehn - Howell MI King Me Balloon Paul Petrehn is from Howell, Michigan. Paul's brother, John Petrehn (Racer X), started hot-air ballooning in the early 70s so Paul grew up around it. He has been a licensed balloon pilot since 1993 and has 1550 hours as pilot-in-command of a balloon.

He presently works in sales for Cameron Balloons. This will be his 15th year participating in the event, flying his King Me balloon. His girlfriend Erica is his crew chief.

Paul placed #2 in 2012 and #7 in 2011 in the hot-air balloon competitions.
