Dear RV Campers:

Battle Creek, Michigan will be hosting the Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show & Balloon Festival which will be held July 1 – July 5, 2009; so, plan your family vacation and join us for five (5) great days of fun and excitement!  Enclosed is the Tentative Schedule of Events as confirmed to date.  However, we will be updating the schedule on a regular basis, so please check our website for additions at www.bcballoons.com.)

The RV Camping area is adjacent to all of the activities that surround the Field of Flight Festival. The Camping area is for self-contained units only!  Generators are permitted but must be shut down by 11:00 p.m.; unless needed for medical reasons.  (See rule #24.)  But, rest assured, if we have extremely hot weather, we will work with all Campers to keep you “cool” by allowing the use of generators.

The enclosed field layout for RV’s reflects the rows and lot numbers.  The size of the RV area is set to accommodate up to 150 RV’s.  We will be assigning the rows and the lot numbers in consecutive order from “F1” - “N1”.  Once that row is filled, we will continue to fill the rows and lots by assigning “F2” - “N2”, etc., since we have eliminated rows.

We do encourage you to indicate your preference for lot location on the RV Camping form, however, please understand that the assignment of the lot numbers will be determined based on the date we receive your application, repeat campers, and the number of days you plan to stay.

For those that want to be grouped together, we suggest that you mail all applications together or designate one person to reserve the total number of lots.  Therefore, if you have a group (must be more than five) that want to be together, you need to utilize one person’s name as the “Group Leader”.  The “Group Leader” can reserve the spaces needed and we will hold these spaces until May 16, 2009.   At which time, any space that has not been paid in full, will be assigned to someone else.  It is strongly recommended that the “Group Leader” send us a list of the individual names that will be or could be a part of the group.

Enclosed are the RV Camping Form, RV Lot Layout Map, RV Camping Rules, and the Tentative Schedule of Events.  We expect 50 Hot-Air Balloons and an incredible Air Show featuring the U.S Air Force Thunderbirds!

Again, reservations for guaranteed group space are due by May 16, 2009; however, we will accept RV Camping forms until June 13, 2009.   All necessary maps and passes will be mailed to you on or before June 13th!
